I love my job writing EFL books for young learners and these three are the ones which got me started. (Wordland was not a book-it was one of the first 'multi-media CD Roms', as we called them then, for ELT)
Word Bird flew into my imagination as a wise old bird who lived on a magical island. He had a different name then too. He had to change to fit these school books but I'm thinking of reviving him in his original state for a children's novel. He's sitting in his nest at the top of a windswept tree, patiently waiting for me to do that!
I've had a blog for years but it has just sat there with the same old posts. I've deleted all the old posts and I'm starting again. What will I blog about? Not sure-probably writing, travelling and daily life in lovely Greece. We'll see! To start it off, here is a picture of two of my gorgeous kids, flying!
